TEAM NEWS

City: Gary Bowyer will be forced into at least one change from the Carlisle victory, with Ben Richards-Everton serving the first of his three-match suspension.

The City boss could opt to bring in more of the players who gained vital minutes at home to Manchester City Under-21s in midweek.

The likes of Shay McCartan and Zeli Ismail have impressed in recent weeks, and could be pushing for starts.

Scunthorpe: Scunthorpe boss Paul Hurst will be without a few of his first-team regulars for the visit of Bowyer's men.

Andy Butler, Yann Songo'o and Junior Brown will all be fit, following injury scares.

New signing Jamie Ward will be in contention and Ryan Colclough faces a late fitness test, but Jordan Hallam, Lee Novak and former Bantam Jamie Proctor are all sidelined.

WHAT THE MANAGERS SAID

Gary Bowyer: "Everyone is surprised at where Scunthorpe currently find themselves.

"I say currently, because they have a good squad and a great manager, in Paul Hurst, and I expect them to bounce back and do well, this season.

"He has a rebuilding job on his hands. Paul has set about that, but the new players need time to gel."

Paul Hurst: "So far, Bradford have lived up to the tag of being one of the favourites to come back up to Sky Bet League One.

"They have a couple of experienced strikers who are important to their team, but it is not just about those two.

"They have started the season well and will bring a lot of supporters with them, tomorrow.

"We expect a tough game against one of the stronger teams in this division."
