BANGLA BANTAMS NOMINATED FOR TOP AWARD

Bangla Bantams have been nominated for a Fans for Diversity Award in partnership with the Football Supporters' Association (FSA).

The supporters’ group are multicultural establishment aimed at bringing more inclusivity to football in Bradford and beyond.

The awards - to be presented at the inaugural ceremony on Friday September 20 - celebrate the energy, campaigns and diversity of football fans across the country. 

The accolades are split into seven categories and consider a wide range of activity which took place over the 2018/2019 campaign.

The winners from each category will form the shortlist for the overall Fans for Diversity prize at the annual FSA awards in December.

Special guests on the evening include author Sophie Cook, Pride in Football’s Stephanie Fuller, Brentford Football Club representative Nity Raj, Sky Sports’ Mie Østergaard and Jermaine Agyako from Cheeky Sport amongst others.

Fans for Diversity is a campaign run in partnership between Kick It Out and the Football Supporters' Association.

Fans For Diversity encourages, funds and supports initiatives by fan groups to promote diversity and inclusion in football, and to challenge all forms of discrimination.
