Zeli Ismail is keen for the Bantams to keep gathering momentum ahead of tomorrow evening's meeting with Port Vale (7.45pm).

City welcome the Valiants to the Utilita Energy Stadium on the back of three consecutive victories, having taken 13 points from their last five matches.

Ismail was encouraged by the performance in Saturday's win over Crawley Town and is desperate to record a fifth-straight home win in Sky Bet League Two.

He said: "We were very happy with the victory and delighted to get the three points, at home, on Saturday.

"Being at home again, on Tuesday, gives us a great opportunity to kick on. Hopefully, we can go out and get another win.

"We need to make sure we carry on and keep up this momentum we have.

"It is important for us not to take our foot off the gas, if we want to keep winning games.

"We want to keep pushing on and we have a great opportunity to do that, again, in front of our home supporters.

"They were fantastic, again, against Crawley and we will be hoping for more of the same, on and off the field, on Tuesday night."

On the back of Saturday's 2-1 triumph over the Red Devils, Ismail remained encouraged by the room for improvement within City's squad.

The winger insisted there is still plenty more to come from him - after enjoying an extended run in the side - and is confident he and the team can deliver.

"We are performing very consistently, at the moment, and getting results," the 25-year-old added.

"On a personal note, I was injured for much of the start of the season, so it has been tough.

"With that in mind, it is is great to have had a run of games under my belt and get my fitness back up.

"There is always room for improvement, not just with me, but within the team, in general. Hopefully, we can keep progressing.

"We have just got to keep grafting, every day, in training and on the field and taking each game as it comes."
