Gary Bowyer's Bantams moved back into the Sky Bet League Two automatic promotion places with a 2-1 win at Morecambe.
Second-half strikes from Hope Akpan and Aramide Oteh were enough to clinch the victory, with Bowyer's men surviving late pressure from thier hosts to take all three points.
The first real opportunity of a subdued opening period went to the Bantams, with Callum Cooke’s long-range drive whistling just wide of the post - on 13 minutes.
City again came close - five minutes later - when Clayton Donaldson was unable to convert Zeli Ismail’s back-post cross.
It did not take Gary Bowyer's men long after the restart to take the lead, with Hope Akpan breaking the deadlock - 47 minutes in.
After Dylan Connolly got the better of his man and burst into the box, he squared for the onrushing midfielder who slotted in his second in as many matches.
The introduction of former Bantam Kevin Ellison saw the hosts go in search of an equaliser, with the 40-year-old striker's header rattling the crossbar.
But the visitors doubled their advantage with just over 10 minutes remaining, through substitute Aramide Oteh.
Neat play from Pritchard saw the midfielder find Oteh who fnished from an angle for his first goal in City colours.
There was still time for the Shrimps to pull one back - through Tom Brewitt's strike - but the away side held on for back-to-back league victories.
