AWAY DAY GUIDE: PLYMOUTH v CITY

The Bantams return to Sky Bet League Two action with a trip to Plymouth Argyle - this afternoon. 

We have compiled a handy Away Day Guide - packed full of useful information ahead of the 3.00pm contest!

PYROTECHNICS & BEHAVIOUR

The club would like to remind supporters the possession or use of pyrotechnics inside a football ground is strictly prohibited.

Those found to be carrying or using pyrotechnics will face a long-term ban.

We would like to remind supporters it is a criminal offence to enter the pitch at any time.

Anyone who does so without permission can expect to face prosecution.

ABOUT THE GROUND

A 12,800-capacity venue, Home Park is currently undergoing - and is near the end of - renovation.

The work will see the ground's capacity raised to a fully-seated 18,600, with a new main stand set to be finalised. 

'The Theatre of Greens' has also hosted rugby union and athletics in addition to concerts from the likes of Rod Stewart, George Michael and Elton John. 

TICKETS

City supporters will be abe to PAY ON THE GATE for this afternoon's fixture, and will be housed in the Barn Park End. 

This option will be made available at turnstile 22 in this particular stand, with cash and card payments accepted. 

Supporters who have also ordered tickets online can collect them from this turnstile. 

Admission prices are as follows: 

Adults - £25

Concessions (Over-65s / Under-23s) - £20

Under-18s - £11

Under-12s* - £8

Under-8s* -£5

*Can only be purchased with a paying adult or concession ticket. 

CAR PARKING

Home Park offers a large car park on site, which is free of charge. This also is used as a park-and-ride service into the town centre. 

This will fill up quickly, however, so supporters are advised to arrive early in order to avoid disappointment. 

NEW DUGOUTS

Home Park's new £8 million Mayflower Grandstand is nearing completion and will be there for all to see, this afternoon. 

Though the new stand will not be in full operation for this fixture, Gary Bowyer, Ryan Lowe and their respective substitutes and staff will be using the new dugouts, there. 

The stand will be fully open to Argyle supporters for their visit of Morecambe on December 14. 

RAINBOW LACES 

This fixture marks Plymouth Argyle's show of support for Stonewall's Rainbow Laces campaign. 

The fixture will be used by the hosts to promote inclusion and equalityof people identifuing as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT). 

ENTERTAINMENT AND REFRESHMENTS

To drink:

Located around a 10-minte walk from the stadium is the Britannia, a sizeable Wetherspoons outlet. 

Hyde Park Social Club is usually very welcoming of away supporters, and is located around a 15-minute walk from the ground. 

To eat:

A number of interactive catering kiosks are located around Home Park, selling a range of hot food and drink. 

Recently-installed kiosk technology will cut down on queuing and allow you to get to the action as quickly as possible.

The Plymouth Argyle on-site Family Zone is welcoming of both home and away supporters, offering games and entertainment for all. 

GETTING THERE

By car:

Home Park (PL2 3DQ) is well sign-posted from the A38.

Approaching Plymouth from the east, exit the A38 at the Manadon roundabout and take the second exit towards the city centre.

Remain on Outland Road for around 1.5 miles (around 15 minutes on a busy matchday), then Home Park should appear into your view on the left-hand side.

Take the next available left and you will arrive at the stadium’s car park.

By train: 

Plymouth railway station is located just a mile away from Home Park and there is a paved walking route which takes you through Central Park straight to the stadium, taking around 20 minutes.

By bus:

Target Travel run a number of dedicated matchday timetables, bringing supporters to Home Park. CLICK HERE for further details. 

WEATHER

City supporters can expect a mild afternoon in Plymouth, with temperatures expected to remain at around 12°C.

It could also be a wet affair, however, with a 40 per-cent chance of rain forecast.
