UTILITA ENERGY 'POWERING THE PARADE'

11 July 2019

Bradford City are delighted to announce the launch of a new major partnership with Utilita Energy - which sees the official launch of the Utilita Energy Stadium.

One of the UK’s leading energy providers have signed a substantial three-year contract, which will see Utilita Energy ‘Power The Parade’ until at least the end of the 2021/22 season.

Utilita’s customer base has almost quadrupled in the last four years, with around 750,000 customers now powered by one of the UK’s fastest-growing energy suppliers.

During that time, Utilita has partnered with more than 20 football clubs, while also supplying energy to a number of iconic stadia, including Ibrox, Selhurst Park and Villa Park, to become an established and recognisable brand within the British game.

The Utilita Energy Stadium will make its maiden appearance when Gary Bowyer’s Bantams take on six-time European champions Liverpool FC in an eagerly anticipated pre-season friendly - in aid of the newly-formed Darby Rimmer MND Foundation.

Utilita’s Director of Marketing & Communications, Jem Maidment, said: "Bradford City is a huge club with a fantastic support - we are thrilled to be Powering the Parade for the coming seasons.

"Bradford is a thriving city in the heart of West Yorkshire - the communities, the cultures & the history of this city is something we want to be a part of and by partnering with such a great club, we will aim to be a big part of the city’s future moving forward."

A Bradford City spokesperson said: "We are delighted to be working with Utilita Energy, who are one of the fastest-growing energy suppliers in the country.

"We are looking forward to formally introducing the Utilita Energy Stadium this weekend - when we take on Liverpool FC - while building a long and successful partnership."

Red Button Marketing Director Adrian Blackburn said: "We are delighted to bring two of our important clients together for this iconic sponsorship. It has been a fantastic experience bringing this new naming rights partnership to life."
