Bradford City are delighted to announce the launch of an official partnership with the newly-formed Darby Rimmer MND Foundation.
The charity was recently set up by City legend Stephen Darby and close friend Chris Rimmer – following Darby’s diagnosis with motor neurone disease, last year.
The agreement will see the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation branding appear on the rear of the shorts of City's all-new 2019/20 away kit.
The alternate strip - launched last night in front of a packed crowd at 'An Evening With The Bantams' - will make its formal debut in Sunday’s friendly at home to Liverpool FC, in aid of the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation.
Darby said: “Everyone involved with the charity cannot thank Bradford City enough for the support they have shown so far.
“To have our logo on the away shorts allows us to raise awareness to so many people across the country.
“Bradford City and the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation hold a special place in our hearts and to be attacking MND together will only make us stronger, as we hope to find a cure.
“To be partnering up with Bradford City is one of our proudest moments. We will be forever grateful for the club’s support.
“We would like to wish the club, the manager, the players and the supporters the best of luck this season.”
