New loan signing Paudie O'Connor has been brought straight into City's starting XI for this Saturday's Yorkshire Derby at Barnsley.
O'Connor, who signed on loan from Leeds United on Tuesday, comes into the side for George Miller.
Miller moves down to the bench at Oakwell as result.
Lewis O'Brien is fit to start despite coming off injured during City's win over against Accrington Stanley in their last outing on New Year's Day.
Hope Akpan is fit enough for a place among the Bantams' substitutes.
