Defender Ryan McGowan has joined Scottish Premiership side Dundee FC - on loan - until the end of the season.
The 29-year-old, whose City contract expires in the summer, has made 29 appearances for the Bantams.
McGowan arrived at the Northern Commercials Stadium last year, joining from UAE Arabian Gulf League outfit Sharjah FC.
City manager David Hopkin said: “We are disappointed to lose Ryan and would like to wish him the very best for the remainder of the season.
“Ryan has family in Scotland and expressed a desire to leave for personal reasons.
"We appreciate his position, given the offer made by Dundee, and thank him for all of his efforts."
