Bradford City have completed the signing of midfielder Jermaine Anderson.

The 22-year-old has agreed a permanent contract, arriving from Peterborough United, which will keep him at the Northern Commercials Stadium until at least the end of the season.

Anderson recently returned to Peterborough, the club he made close to 100 competitive appearances for, following a loan spell with Doncaster.

The former Arsenal junior said: “I am buzzing to be joining Bradford and am raring to go, ready to play.

“I want to do as well as I can over the next few months and fight for my place in the team.

“I haven’t played for a couple of weeks, so am looking forward to getting involved in training and playing at Valley Parade.

“The home support is fantastic at this club and it will be a great experience to play in front of them.

“Bradford is massive club and we have the players here to do well. It is all about winning games and climbing the table.”

City manager David Hopkin added: “We are delighted to be adding Jermaine to the squad.

“He will add competition in midfield and comes with a decent pedigree.

“For a young lad, he has played a lot of games in League One, which will be beneficial for us.

“He is match fit and we look forward to seeing what he brings to the team.”

Anderson - who will wear the No.18 shirt - is now available for sponsorship.
