The Bantams take on Walsall this afternoon - in Sky Bet League One - and we have put together a helpful Away Day Guide to helo you enjoy today's action (kick-off 3.00pm)!

THE GROUND

Walsall Football Club moved to the Banks's Stadium in August 1990 from Fellows Park, their home of 94 years. 

The Banks’s, originally known as Bescot Stadium, is an all-seater venue comprising four stands, with a total capacity of 11,300.

Away supporters are housed in the University of Wolverhampton Stand - situated behind one of the goals - where around 2,000 away supporters can be accommodated.  

TICKETS 

Please note: Away supporters cannot take advantage of Walsall's offer to bring a friend for £5 as it was for pre-purchased tickets ONLY. All walk-ups on the day, must pay the matchday rate.

Prices increase to the matchday rate:

ADULTS - £22.50

OVER 60’s - £17.50

UNDER 18’s - £17.50

FAMILY TICKET - £24.50

(One adult & one junior)

EXTRA JUNIOR TO FAMILY TICKET - £13.00

(One permitted per family ticket, any additional juniors at the junior price)

All family tickets must be purchased directly from Walsall’s ticket office window, whilst all other tickets are available to purchase at the turnstiles - CASH ONLY. 

Walsall’s ticket office is located at the front of the main stand.

Disabled Fans will pay the age-related terracing prices and will qualify for a free carer subject to being in receipt of DLA or PIP at the mid or enhanced rate.

Any tickets which were not collected from the Northern Commercials ticket office by 4:00pm on Friday February 22 can be collected at Banks's Stadium.

 

GETTING THERE

By Road…

From M6 North: Leave the M6 at Junction 9 and take the A461 towards Walsall. Turn right onto the A4148 (Wallowes Lane) and turn right at the second set of traffic lights. The ground will appear on your left.

From M6 South: Leave the M6 at Junction 7 and take the A34 towards Walsall. At the end of the dual carriageway, turn left at the Bell Inn pub into Walstead Road and continue straight on this road for two miles. The stadium will appear on your right.

By Bus…

The Banks's Stadium is well served by buses. All buses leave from the Bradford Place Bus Station. Service number 401E, operated by Diamond, runs every 15 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Friday and stop on Bescot Crescent outside the ground. The 45 runs every 20 minutes during Monday to Friday daytime, as well as Saturdays, and every hour after 9pm. The 4 service runs every eight minutes and stops on West Bromwich Road, a short walk from the ground.

By Rail…

Bescot Stadium Railway Station is just a two-minute walk from the stadium. It is served by trains from Birmingham Grand Central (New Street) and Wolverhampton.

PARKING

Car parking is available at the stadium at a cost of £4 per car, £6 per minibus and £12 per coach, including disabled supporters.

Parking is also available at the nearby Bescot Stadium Railway Station (£2). 

The Banks's Stadium also has free parking facilities for cyclists outside the Main Reception.

Please Note: The Green Zone car park will be locked two hours after the final whistle. Any vehicles left on the car park after this time will be locked in.

 

ENTERTAINMENT & REFRESHMENTS

The Pubs…

Close to the ground, just a short walk along Bescot Crescent from the away end is the Park Inn Hotel, which has a bar and shows Sky Sports.

Walsall has an ‘Away Fans Bar’ located…

The Food…

Adjacent to the ground, there is a retail park which has a McDonalds.

Just over a 30 minute walk away, the ‘Saddlers Shopping Centre’ is a place where people can eat, drink and enjoy their leisure time.
