Shay McCartan is one of four changes Gary Bowyer has made to his starting 11, ahead of this afternoon's visit of Mansfield Town.
The forward makes his first start in claret and amber since last May, starting up front alongside returning skipper James Vaughan.
Adam Henley also returns to the starting line-up, as does Jake Reeves who missed Thursday's trip to Carlisle with illness.
There is also a place back among City's substitutes for Zeli Ismail.
