Gary Bowyer insists he and his side are concentrating on themselves, ahead of their hunt for another three points at home to Morecambe.
The Shrimps currently sit 23rd in the Sky Bet League Two table, just one point clear of the bottom of the league.
However the City chief is adamant his Bantams are not focussing on their opponents and refuse to overlook the challenge Derek Adams’ men will bring to West Yorkshire.
Bowyer said: “Like I say all the time, there are no easy games in this division. Morecambe will be no different. They will be fighting for their lives.
“We just have to concentrate on ourselves, because it can be very easy to get distracted when you think too much about the opposition.
“It was strange against Mansfield because it was not the best we had played, recently, and we had less attempts on goal than we had in the previous few games, but we ended up winning.
“We need to make sure we stay as clinical as we were and focus on picking up another three points.”
Bowyer admitted he hopes to have seen the back of the sickness bug which has plagued his camp over recent weeks.
The Bantams boss has spoken of how players he has returning to fitness have made for a difficult selection decision, ahead of the New Year’s Day encounter.
He added: “We certainly hope the illness is behind us, now.
“We have had to put up with it and it has been disruptive, over the past few weeks, but the lads have not made any excuses at all.
“We have had to get the rest and recovery into the lads who played against Mansfield and top up the ones who did not.
“There have been a lot of encouraging performances of late and we are thankfully welcoming back a few from injuries and illness.
“I have a tough decision to make in terms of team selection ahead of the Morecambe game, which is very positive.”
