AWAY DAY GUIDE: LEYTON ORIENT v CITY

The Bantams return to Sky Bet League Two action with a trip to Leyton Orient - this afternoon. 

We have compiled a handy Away Day Guide - packed full of useful information ahead of the 3.00pm contest!

PYROTECHNICS & BEHAVIOUR

The club would like to remind supporters the possession or use of pyrotechnics inside a football ground is strictly prohibited.

Those found to be carrying or using pyrotechnics will face a long-term ban.

We would like to remind supporters it is a criminal offence to enter the pitch at any time.

Anyone who does so without permission can expect to face prosecution.

ABOUT THE GROUND

The Breyer Group Stadium is an all-seater, 9,271-capacity venue which has been home to Orient since opening in 1937. 

The ground consists of four stands: The West Stand, The Qualiteach Community Stand, The Q2W Tommy Johnston South Stand and The Green Inc East Stand - where City supporters will be housed. 

Having undergone several renovations, the Breyer Group Stadium is traditionally known as Brisbane Road by supporters. 

TICKETS

Tickets are now offically OFF SALE for this afternoon's clash. 

City supporters have sold close to 1,000 tickets for the match and will be housed in the south end of the Breyer Group Stadium's Green Inc East Stand, on an unreserved basis. 

The game is a strictly ALL-TICKET affair, with NO PAY ON THE GATE option available. 

CAR PARKING

Being located in a residential area, car parking around the Breyer Group Stadium is exremely limited, with no public parking available at the venue itself. 

If wishing to attempt to park on nearby streets - which is not recommended - supporters are advised to be wary of various charges this may incur. 

ENTERTAINMENT AND REFRESHMENTS

To drink:

The Northcote Arms pub on Grove Green Road is usually welcoming of away suporters. 

The establishment has Sky television, is a 15-minute walk from the ground and is also listed in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide. 

To eat:

The Breyer Group Stadium offeres an extensive Match Day Menu - supplied by caterers British Event Catering - which serves traditional London dishes such as pie and mash, on top of chicken wings, nachos, loaded hot-dogs and more. 

Facilities at the ground also serve hot and cold alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

GETTING THERE

By car:

Exit the M25 at junction 27 and follow signs to 'London (NE), M11' onto the M11 southbound. 

After 7.1 miles where the road divides, bear right (s/p A406 N. Circ. Rd West, London N and W) onto the North Circular Road. 

Keep in the left hand-lanes and take the first exit after 0.6 miles (s/p Walthamstow and City A104, then Whipps Cross A104, West End (A503).

At the roundabout turn left (s/p Whipps Cross, Bakers Arms, Walthamstow A503) into Woodford New Road A104.

At the next roundabout (Whipps Cross) after 1.2 miles, take the second exit (s/p A104 Bakers Arms, Leyton) and follow the road round to left, towards the BP station, into Lea Bridge Road. 

After 0.5 miles, just after the Esso station, turn left at the lights (s/p Leyton, Stratford, then Leyton Leisure Lagoon) into Leyton Green Road. 

Filter left after 0.3 miles and turn left at T-junction into Leyton High Road.

After 1.2 miles the ground is down side-streets on the right-hand side.

By train: 

London Overground

Leyton Midland Road is approximately a 15-minute walk from the stadium.

From Leyton Midland Road, turn left towards Leyton and continue down the High Road past Leyton County Cricket Ground until you reach Windsor Road.

Turn down Windsor Road and the ground is in front of you.

London Underground

The nearest London Underground station to the stadium is Leyton, which is located on the Central (red) line.

It is just one stop from Stratford, which has connections to the Jubilee line, TFL Rail, Docklands Light Railway, London Overground and various National Rail services.

It is also easily accessible from other London mainline stations such as Kings Cross St Pancras, Euston, Waterloo, Victoria and Paddington.

Walking to The Breyer Group Stadium will take approximately 10 minutes.

Upon exit from the station, turn right and follow Leyton High Road until Coronation Gardens is on your left.

Turn down Buckingham Road after the park and the ground will be in front of you.

By bus:

Bus numbers 58, 69, 97 and 158 run along Leyton High Road. Please CLICK HERE for further route information from Transport for London.

WEATHER

City supporters are in for a dry and potentially bright afternoon in East London, with temperatures set to remain at around 8°C.
