Bradford City can confirm that Sean Scannell has left the club by mutual consent.
Scannell, 28, arrived at the Utilita Energy Stadium last year and scored one goal in 24 competitive appearances for the Bantams.
City have allowed the former Huddersfield midfielder to pursue an opportunity in Sky Bet League One.
