The Club are delighted to introduce you to one of our Bantams Business Members, City Eyewear.
Luke Baker - the owner of City Eyewear - graduated from The University of Manchester with a BSc (Hons) in Optometry in 2000; in 2001 he then qualified to become an Optometrist.
Luke went on to work for Dollond and Aitchison, Boots Opticians and Laser clinics before working for himself as a mobile optician and locum.
He then realised that he wanted to run his own practice - so he bought City Eyewear in 2006 allowing him to deliver a first-class optometry service to his patients in his own individual way.
Based in the heart of Bradford, City Eyewear conduct eye tests and have a wide range of contact lenses and designer frames to choose from.
Through their partnership with the club, City Eyewear came down to the stadium and gave all staff members free eye tests, and brought a range of frames to choose from.
Luke, the owner of City Eyewear, said: "We joined BBM to reach our local community via the outreach and exposure and of course the brand of BCAFC and its large following.
"We have benefited by being Bantams Business Member as this has allowed us to gain access to not only the supporters associated with the club but also a local network of business owners.
"The club brings business owners together in networking events to mix with one another and make our brand more recognizable to the local businesses in the area.
"We have also had the opportunity to mix with club staff and players who have also used our services.
"We have also recouped several times our investment into becoming a member within the first three months and that’s excluding the four free tickets given to us by the club."
