David Hopkin has called for his Bantams to “close down” Doncaster Rovers as the City boss goes in search of his first victory in charge (3.00pm).

Tomorrow’s opponents sit fifth in Sky Bet League One and enter the contest on the back of a 4-1 victory over Walsall.

Hopkin insists City are “well prepared” but admits his side’s defensive efforts could be the difference.

The Bantams boss said: “Doncaster picked up a good win at Walsall last week. They are a very fluid, attacking team and we know we are in for a difficult challenge.

“It is a game we are looking forward to, though. Training has been very positive and the players are responding well. Hopefully, we will see more improvement as we go in search of a result.

“Doncaster are a team which likes to play football. They will attack in numbers and try to cause us problems.

“We need to defend well and take our chances if we want anything from the game.”

Supporters can pay-on-the-gate tomorrow, with admission prices set at £21 (adults), £17 (60+ & 22-24 years), £13 (18-21 years), £8 (17 years and under) and £5 (11 years and under).
