Shirts produced and worn by the City squad to support Stephen Darby are now being collected by Bantams fans.
This comes following the end of last week’s auction, which resulted in more than 50 bids being made.
Former City captain Darby recently announced his retirement from professional football after being diagnosed with motor neurone disease.
The total amount raised will be confirmed once all shirts have been collected, though we can now reveal the highest bidder tabled an offer of £500 - all the way from the United States!
The warm-up jerseys were first donned when City faced Doncaster Rovers, last month, and the players wore them prior to the Bantams’ draw with Bristol Rovers.
Following the final whistle, all 20 shirts were signed by every member of David Hopkin’s squad and auctioned off.
In recent days, the top 20 bidders have been contacted and collections have been arranged.
All monies raised will be donated to the Motor Neurone Disease Association, at the request of Stephen Darby.
