The Club are delighted to announce Primetime Bradford as the winning charity partner!
In Summer 2018, the Club announced a new and exciting opportunity for all local charities that would give them the chance to work alongside Bradford City and host a bucket collection at one of the five selected fixtures throughout the 2018/19 season!
Every penny raised at the bucket collection will go to the charity, to help them fund the amazing work they do.
Approximately two weeks ago, the first vote began and we can confirm that Primetime Bradford had the most votes and will be hosting a bucket collection for one of our upcoming fixtures (Saturday 3rd November, Bradford City v Portsmouth).
Primetime is a Children and Young People’s Project based in the local community of BD4.
Their focus of everything they do is on young people and their beliefs are that by offering opportunities for children and young people to develop outside of their home and school life, they are helping to ensure young people are heard, valued and understood locally.
Many of the young people that Primetime Bradford focus on don’t have the opportunities to reach their full potential, so through Primetimes programme, they aim to increase young people’s opportunities to succeed in the future, and give them a better quality of life.
As part of their programme, Primetime offer an accredited young leaders certificate which provides young people with an opportunity to develop new skills, enhance CV’s and give back to their local communities through social action activities.
