BANTAMS BACK THE SLEEP OUT

12 November 2018

Members of David Hopkin's squad will be attending the Sleep Out to show their support of Centrepoint’s annual fundraising event.

On Thursday November 22, 120 people will be setting up camp in the JCT600 Stand (West) concourse to raise funding for Centrepoint, a charity which support 150 homeless young people aged 16-25 in Bradford every single day.

The doors open at 7.00pm for the sleepers to come in and collect their sleeping bags.

On the night, there will be food, entertainment and live music to help the sleepers get settled for the night as they prepare to sleep on the West Stand’s concrete floor.

As well as Paula Watson and Isabel Pitts – two members of City’s off-field team – first team players Jake Reeves, Tom Clare, Ellis Hudson and Cameron Hawkes will be in attendance between 8.00pm and 9.00pm.

All funds raised at the event will be used to introduce the Centrepoint Sport Training Centre Programme in Bradford.

Centrepoint Sport is a programme which uses Street Football to improve the emotional wellbeing, resilience, motivation and self-confidence of young people who are homeless or at risk and turn their lives around.

As part of signing up for the event, Paula Watson and Isabel Pitts - members of City’s off-field team - have created an online donation page which goes straight to the charity.
