Well, Bradford City ... it certainly has been emotional.
Yes, I know we can probably say that about every campaign, particularly as the season came to an agonising end at Wembley last year.
However, this time around we really have been given the whole range of emotions from a team, who offered so much early in the season, before crumbling at the turn of the year and then showing a mini revival late on.
The departure of club legend Stuart McCall was the heartbreaker of course. Whether you agree with his sacking or not, it did feel like the end of an era and was tough to say goodbye to a man who has made such an incredible contribution to this great club of ours for many years.
That was then compounded by City failing to regain the winning thread until it seemed too late. It was the ultimate pull on the heartstrings.
In the middle of all that we had an apparent fall out between the club and supporters after a frustrating January transfer window which required an extraordinary open evening at the club to answer try questions, stem anger and win back confidence on both parts.
The season has really put the fans through the mill and that has certainly been reflected on our social media feed throughout the campaign.
In the last 10 months we've gone from hope and expectation, to delight and anticipation, then to despair and frustration, only to return to hope and then resignation.
With a number of out of contract players again set to leave the club in the summer the emotions are not done there, but of course, that is football and names come and go. Paul Taylor’s departure though for health reasons is one that particularly hurts.
Maybe we are due a break this summer after all the drama of the campaign just gone. We can recharge the batteries and prepare for another rollercoaster of emotions I’m sure in the season ahead.
I hope to be back in the commentary box for you again next season. Nothing is guaranteed with deals between the club and the station still to be struck, but I love this job and I love the club and I feel we all have unfinished business.
So, let’s hope the farewell game of the season is a happy experience.
