HENRY LEAVES BANTAMS

24 December 2018

Midfielder Karl Henry has left the club.

The 36-year-old agreed a short-term deal with the Bantams last month, designed to keep him at the Northern Commercials Stadium until the end of January.

But the former Wolves, Stoke and QPR player has chosen to cut short his stay with the club.

Henry said: “I would like to thank everybody at Bradford City and wish the club the very best for the future.”

Henry made six appearances for City, after being released by Sky Bet Championship side Bolton in the summer.

Bantams manager David Hopkin added: “Karl has acted with the upmost professionalism since arriving at the club and we wish him and his family the best for the future.”
