O'DONNELL: 'WE ARE LOOKING TO KICK ON'

Richard O’Donnell insists the Bantams will enter Saturday’s visit of Wycombe Wanderers with confidence, as City go in search of a third victory in five Sky Bet League One outings (kick-off 3.00pm).

Bradford go into the contest on the back of Tuesday's defeat of Burton, while visitors Wycombe arrive seeking their first win - after recording two draws and two defeats in their opening fixtures.

City keeper O’Donnell has kept clean sheets in the Bantams’ victories and is hoping he and his fellow team-mates can kick on this weekend.

“We can play a lot better than we did on Tuesday night but the result was important and the response was good,” said the former Sheffield Wednesday stopper.

“We will go into Saturday with confidence. We took a fair bit from the Burton game. It gave us plenty to work on and there were positives to take.

“The players responded in the right manner and we got the Southend loss out of our systems. We owed it to the supporters and coaching staff.

“Wycombe will come here hoping to get a result. They have drawn two and lost two but, after being promoted, they will have a great deal of belief.

“They have some top players and we will have plenty to contend with on the day.

“But we will concentrate on ourselves and what we want to achieve. Team spirit is high and we are continuing to improve.

“We have had a tough start to the season in terms of the teams we have faced. If we can make it three wins from five, we will be fairly pleased with the progress made.
