City players past and present came together this Tuesday (5 September 2017) for a special Bantams Golf Day at The Cleckheaton & District Golf Club.
Three members of Stuart McCall's current first team squad, plus Head of Recruitment Greg Abbott and Chief Operating Officer James Mason, were joined by eight former Bantams for the shotgun-start golf event.
The City players taking part were Tony McMahon, Colin Doyle and Matthew Kilgallon.
Team-mates Alex Gilliead, Romain Vincelot, Timothee Dieng, Jake Reeves and Dominic Poleon were also on hand to show their support.
Those former Bantams to feature in the event were Peter Jackson, John Dreyer, Paul Jewell, Barry Gallagher, Terry Dolan, Bruce Bannister, Dave Evans and John Hendrie.
Each representative of the club were assigned a team, with the rest of their group made up by supporters or club guests/sponsors.
Yorkshire Radio came out on top after all the scores were added up, with the One in a Million team, which included former Bradford Bulls player Robbie Hunter-Paul, finishing second.
The event was organised by the Former Bantams Association following the success of last year's inaugural event.
The association was formed back in March 2016 in an attempt to maintain a connection between former players and management, the club and its supporters.
Following the eighteen holes of golf around the beautiful Cleckheaton course, City's players, staff, sponsors and supporters enjoyed an evening meal, prize giving and auction.
The club would like to thank all those involved for their attendance, Napoleons Casino for sponsoring the event, plus The Cleckheaton Golf Club for being such accommodating hosts.
The football club would also like to thank any parties who donated prizes to the evening auction.
