FIVE THINGS TO LOOK OUT FOR | PETERBOROUGH UNITED (AWAY)

7 September 2017

The Bantams travel to league leaders Peterborough United this Saturday (9 September 2017) in their latest Sky Bet League One fixture.

Ahead of the match, we take a look at five possible talking points this weekend...

1. City to topple the table-toppers?
Stuart McCall's men will face the side with the best record in League One so far this season on Saturday. Peterborough are unbeaten in the league after five games, winning their first four before dropping their first points of the season last weekend after a goalless draw at Doncaster Rovers. Can City become the first side to inflict a league defeat on the Posh?

2. The Bantams looking for a hat-trick of wins at the ABAX Stadium
City will head to Peterborough at the weekend with happy recent memories of their time at the ABAX Stadium. The Bantams won on their last visit to London Road last season 1-0 thanks to a first half winner from Jordy Hiwula. The season before - the 2015/2016 campaign - City claimed an impressive 4-0 success, James Hanson netting a double in the away day win.

3. More wonder from Wyke?
Fresh from his match-winning hat-trick against Bristol Rovers last weekend, Charlie Wyke will surely be aiming for more when the Bantams travel to Peterborough. With Peterborough expected to play a back three that includes former Newcastle United defender Steven Taylor, Wyke and his fellow attackers could be in for an interesting battle on Saturday. Having netted an impressive ten goals in their last three outings though, City will be confident of hitting the target again at the weekend.

4. Adam Thompson and Shay McCartan in the mix
After a spell away with the Northern Ireland national side, City duo Adam Thompson and Shay McCartan are expected to be involved with the Bantams at Peterborough at the weekend. For Thompson, this Saturday's game will be his first with City after joining on a season-long loan from Bury last week. The central defender will wear squad number two during his time with City this season.

5. Peterborough return for Nathaniel Knight-Percival and Paul Taylor
City pair Nathaniel Knight-Percival and Paul Taylor are likely to make a return to the ABAX Stadium this weekend. Knight-Percival featured for City at Peterborough last season, while Taylor was actually in the Posh line up for the same game back in August 2016.
