AWAY FANS' GUIDE - PETERBOROUGH UNITED

7 September 2017

Stuart McCall's Bantams travel to the ABAX Stadium this Saturday (9 September 2017) for their Sky Bet League One fixture with Peterborough United.

For those making the journey south to London Road, take a look at our handy match-day guide...

Address:
Peterborough United
ABAX Stadium
London Road
Peterborough
PE2 8AL

Away Section:
City supporters will be located in Blocks A and B of the Main Stand at the ABAX Stadium. This particular section of the ground is down one of the sides of the pitch nearest to the Motorpoint Stand.

Directions:

From North (A1): Exit the A1 at signpost ‘Leicester, Peterborough North A47’. Turn left onto the A47. Exit the A47 after roughly five miles, at junction 15. At the roundabout turn right onto the A1260 Nene Parkway. Exit the Nene Parkway after one mile. At the mini-roundabout by the ‘Gordon Arms’, turn left onto the A605 Oundle Road. Access to the stadium is straight on at traffic lights just before the town bridge.

Parking
On a match day, there is unfortunately no public car parking at the ABAX stadium. There is, however, parking for cars in the Pleasure Fair Meadow council and Railworld car parks opposite the stadium (adjacent to the Town bridge on Oundle Road).

Disabled Parking
The ABAX Stadium has twelve disabled persons parking places for home and away fans in the Motorpoint car park that are allocated to Blue Badge holders. These are provided free of charge on a first come, first served basis.

Rail
Peterborough Train Station is roughly a mile away from the ABAX Stadium. Turn right out of station and head towards the main road (Bourges Boulevard). Turn right and head towards the big roundabout. Use the pedestrian underpass and head past Asda. At the traffic lights, turn right and the ground is situated on the left hand side over the town bridge. Taxi cabs are also available from the Railway Station.

Cash Point
The nearest cash points to the stadium are next to Papa Luigi on London Road or halfway down Oundle Road. Alternatively there are a number of banks/cash points in the city centre within walking distance.

Food & Drink
Peterborough town centre is approximately ten minutes away on foot. The Palmerston Arms pub on Oundle Road is not too far away from the ground, while the Charters Bar is another interesting option for those wanting a pre-match drink. The bar is located on a former Dutch barge moored up on the River Nene! For food, Woodston Chippy is situated close to the Palmerston Arms. There is also a KFC drive-through on London Road near to The Peacock pub.
