McMAHON INJURY CONFIRMED AFTER SCAN RESULTS

10 October 2017

Bantams right back Tony McMahon is expected to be sidelined for two-to-four weeks after City received the results of a scan on the defender's injured hamstring.

McMahon suffered a small tear in his hamstring during the second period of City's 4-1 win at Milton Keynes Dons at the weekend.

The scan on McMahon's injury has revealed a four-centimetre tear in the hamstring - thankfully not as bad as first feared when he limped off at Stadium MK on Saturday.

City boss Stuart McCall said: "It is a low-grade two tear which usually means anything between two-to-four weeks out.

"We'll see how he goes in the next couple of weeks but I'm sure Tony will be keen to get back as soon as possible."

In other news, Shay McCartan is scheduled to make a return to training today (Tuesday) as he steps up his recovery from a recent calf problem.
