McCALL | OUR FANS CAN BE THE DIFFERENCE ON SATURDAY

30 November 2017

Bantams boss Stuart McCall says City's fans have a big part to play in Saturday's Emirates FA Cup second round tie with Plymouth Argyle at the Northern Commercials Stadium.

Just three weeks on from their league encounter with the Pilgrims, City take on Plymouth again at the weekend with a place in the prized third round draw up for grabs.

If last month's league match is anything to go by, Saturday's tie could be a tight and hard-fought contest.

With that in mind, McCall knows City must do everything they can to make home advantage count.

McCall said: "This Saturday's game is an important one for us for a number of reasons.

"We want to get back to winning ways at home. The performances haven't been a concern, but our recent results haven't been what we're looking for.

"There is also the financial rewards and the excitement of getting into the third round to play for.

"The lads are looking forward to Saturday. They love playing at home with the fantastic support we get.

"We love the cup and we want to go as far as we can in this competition.

"It would be great to be involved in the buzz of the third round draw.

"With that in mind, it would be great to see a healthy crowd in the stadium on Saturday.

"We'll need them to sing and make as much noise as they can to really cheer the lads on.

"There will be no sitting back from us - we will be looking to attack and create opportunities from the first minute.

"My message to the fans would simply be 'please come and support us - we need every single one of you'."
