SUPPORTERS REMINDED OF THE CLUB'S FIRM STANCE OVER PYROTECHNIC USE

21 November 2017

Bradford City would like to remind all supporters that the use of pyrotechnic devices is strictly forbidden.

The club has a firm stance on the use of pyrotechnics, whether it be at the Northern Commercials Stadium at Valley Parade or at any other EFL ground.

Such is the determination of the authorities to eradicate the use of pyrotechnics from football, any supporter found to be using them could be liable to a criminal conviction and, in certain cases, imprisonment.

Bradford City are supporting an EFL campaign and will impose at least a 3 season ban on any supporter who violates our strict 'no-pyrotechnics' policy.

As well as negatively affecting other fans enjoyment of the game, pyrotechnics are a serious danger to those with breathing difficulties and disabled supporters who can not easily escape from the smoke.

Should anyone see or witness any behaviour that relates to pyrotechnics then they are urged to contact the nearest steward or police officer.

Thank you for your continued support.
