BOYESON CONFIRMED AS PLYMOUTH MATCH OFFICIAL

8 November 2017

Experienced match official Carl Boyeson has been confirmed as the referee for Saturday's (11 November 2017) Sky Bet League One match with Plymouth Argyle at the Northern Commercials Stadium.

Mr Boyeson, who is in his sixteenth full season as a referee with the EFL, has taken charge of fourteen games so far this campaign.

His latest game came as recently as this Tuesday when he officiated Oldham Athletic's victory over Newcastle United U21s in the Checkatrade Trophy.

The referee from East Yorkshire has also officiated one of City's Checkatrade Trophy games this season - the 4-2 victory over Chesterfield at the Spireites' Proact Stadium.

Mr Boyeson hasn't actually taken charge at the Northern Commercials Stadium since 14 December 2013, however, when he was in the middle for City's 1-1 draw with Leyton Orient.

The assistant referees for Saturday's Plymouth fixture will be Paul Hobday and Alf Greenwood.

The fourth official is scheduled to be Darren Drysdale.
