Everyone connected with Bradford City FC from the owners, directors, management, staff and players would like to thank all supporters for joining us at Wembley Stadium on Saturday for our final game of the 2016/17 season.
It wasn’t the ending we had all hoped for but we will come back stronger and hungrier for success next season. As a club we have learned to win together and lose together over many years and Saturday was no different. Your support throughout the season has been nothing short of phenomenal.
The pitch invasion at the end of the game has been well documented and is regrettable. The Club has been invited by the EFL to gather observations from players, staff and supporters on incidents that occurred throughout the day. The Club is in the process of putting these points together for submission to the EFL who will, in turn, take up all the points raised with the relevant parties including the FA, Wembley Stadium and Millwall FC.
While we do not need Bradford City supporters to comment on the pitch incursion, any supporter wishing to contact the club to pass on any eye-witness accounts of any other incidents inside or outside the stadium that they feel need to be addressed can do so via the following email address firstname.lastname@example.org
If you do not have access to email, please get in touch with the Club at the 1911 suite reception or via telephone number 0871 978 1911 and leave a contact number and a Club official will get back to you for further details.
In line with our customary approach, Bradford City FC will not comment further on the situation at the play-off game until all evidence has been collated and submitted to the relevant authorities. However, you can be assured that the Club is doing everything possible to take up the problems encountered with the right agencies in the right manner. Thank you for your patience and, of course, for your support.
