City joint-owner Stefan Rupp is confident the Bantams can recover from their Play-Off Final heartache by coming back stronger next season.
Mr Rupp, who celebrated his first anniversary as co-chairman alongside Edin Rahic on Saturday, refused to be too downhearted at seeing the dream of instant promotion in their first year of charge wrenched away at Wembley Stadium by Millwall's late winner.
Instead Rupp preferred to look back on their opening season in England with a sense of pride.
Mr Rupp said: "We were never out of the play-offs and, for our first year in England, I think that's quite an achievement.
"I was told if you win at Wembley, it's awesome, but if you lose, it's horrible – but it's not that horrible. It's only a matter of postponing what we are going to achieve and this defeat is not the end of the world.
"We are not going anywhere so we just have to be patient."
