Tickets for Bradford City’s Sky Bet League One Play-Offs semi-final second leg match at Fleetwood Town will go on sale this Friday (5 May) at 1:00pm at both the ticket office and online.
With demand expected to outweigh supply, we urge supporters to please note the following information.
The game kicks off at 6.30pm on Sunday evening and tickets will be predominantly standing only.
Our away support this year has been phenomenal with 10 away sell outs across 23 league games including Fleetwood back in February.
Unfortunately we have received a lower allocation of tickets for this particular game than we did for the league fixture and so we appreciate there will be many Bradford City fans that will want to go but will not get a ticket.
As such, the sale of tickets will be sold firstly to our Priority Away Members. Following this we do not expect there to be any left for sale.
The reason for waiting until Friday afternoon to sell them is for an number of reasons listed below:
- It gave us the maximum time to concentrate on selling tickets for Thursday’s game which is our priority and demand has been very high both online and at the stadium.
- We expect to sell the total away allocation in a few hours maximum so it will not require a long turn-around time.
- We are currently dealing with a lot of season ticket seat swaps which we said we would honour from Tuesday of this week. This has proved to be very busy.
- It gave us time additional time to see if we could increase our allocation and furthermore to work on the logistics of a fair distribution: i.e. can our ticket system cope with a high demand in short period of time online only or should we offer sales at the windows as well. Another alternative that was considered was a ballot/lottery.
On Friday tickets will be sold only to supporters with a valid Priority Away membership (this is acknowledged on your online customer profile). On Friday we will have a series of stewards checking that people have the appropriate ID to enable them to be eligible to buy tickets.
For supporters with disabilities there will be a dedicated telephone number 07818 515639 and for wheel chair users please report to the 1911 reception to register your interest.
Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis and we understand that there will be some supporters that will unfortunately NOT get a ticket.
As such we plan to host a LIVE screening of the game in the McCall suite on Sunday evening and would invite all those supporters that have a Priority Away membership but in the end failed to get a ticket to join us for a free drink and pie and chips supper as a gesture of goodwill.
We hope to have some former players in attendance and all other supporters are of course welcome to join us and hopefully create that ‘Live’ atmosphere for all the City fans not at the game.
Admission will be free of charge and there will be pay bar facilities and food for those that want to pay for.
Doors open from 5.30pm.
Please note that the ticket office will NOT be open on Friday for any other transactions, such as season ticket renewals or moving season tickets.
The opening hours will be adapted so the ticket office can prepare to open at 1:00pm for the Fleetwood away ticket sales.
Any other enquiries on Friday morning should be made to the main reception at the 1911 Club.
All tickets bought online can be collected on Saturday from the ticket office between 9:00am and 12noon.
We are also looking at a collection point at Fleetwood on Sunday but we urge all those that collect from Bradford City to do so.
