Train

Coventry Arena train station next to the Ricoh Arena is now open. Please note, however, there is currently a very limited service in operation at this station. Only one train per hour in either direction with double carriage capacity will be in use for Coventry City home games. Another alternative is Coventry Railway Station, which is in the City Centre and approximately five miles away. There are usually black cabs immediately outside the station, and it is roughly a 10 to 15 minute journey to the stadium.

Bus

The recommended bus service from Coventry Train Station to the Ricoh Arena is:

  • Number 8 Bus from Coventry Train Station to Coventry Transport Museum
  • Then catch the Number 4 or Number 5 from Coventry Transport Museum to Arena Park (Tesco)
  • Once you arrive at Arena Park, there is an underpass which takes you into Car Park B of the Ricoh Arena. Follow signs for the Ricoh Arena main entrance from here.

Parking

There is a 2km resident’s permit zone in operation surrounding the arena, meaning that you cannot park on any of the streets without having a permit. This is enforced by Coventry City Council who do regular patrols and issue parking tickets on the day. There has also been a change of Management Company at the large Tesco car park next door, which strictly enforces a no more than 2 hour stay regulation on a match day. They use an ANPR system and a £100 fine (£60 if paid within 14 days) is sent through the post if the stay goes over this. Supporters can book parking spaces online in advance. Subject to availability, cash parking will be available on the day. Further information on available car parks, and on how to book your place, can be found at www.ricoharenaparking.co.uk

Food & Drink

Arena Shopping Centre is roughly a ten-minute walk away from the Ricoh Arena. The shopping centre itself offers a number of food options, including Burger King, Subway, Pizza Hut and Frankie & Benny's. The shopping centre can be found on Classic Drive, Rowleys Green (CV6 6LN). There are also a number of fish & chip shops within walking distance of the Ricoh Arena. In terms of drinking, the Ricoh Arena complex has a Grosvenor Casino on-site - this is located by the Club Shop. The casino usually welcomes home and away supporters, and has bars and live sport showing, although it is strictly over 18s only. There is also a bar called 'The Mill' located around the Ricoh Arena. It can be found via the main entrance and forms part of the on-site Double Tree Hilton hotel.

Distance

The Ricoh Arena is approximately 128 miles from the Northern Commercials Stadium. This is roughly 2 hours and 30 minutes away in a car in normal traffic.

Cash Machine

There is a LINK cash machine on-site at the Ricoh Arena. Alternatively, cash machines are available at the Arena Shopping Centre.
