The EFL Trust Football and Education programme offers 16 - 19 year olds (girls and boys) the chance to develop their technical abilities and gain qualifications in a professional and fun environment. It also combines education with training in, and playing, Futsal and Football, whilst representing Bradford City in the EFL Trust Futsal League!

If you’re aged 16-19 and interested in developing your skills in the classroom, on the pitch and in the workplace, whilst working with a top educational establishment, the EFL Trust Football and Education and Programme is for you. Top qualifications, top grades, top careers!

The BTEC Level 2 in sport is the equivalent to 4 GCSEs and is suitable for learners who have not quite achieved 5 GCSE grades A - C.

The BTEC level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport is worth up to 3 A levels, and can open the door to university and further education and opportunities and employment. Whilst working towards your qualifications, you will receive high class coaching in the game that has helped hone the skills of top names in the sport, and represent the Bantams at the Futsal arenas in Sheffield or Manchester on a Wednesday in the Football League Trust Futsal League.

You will also have the opportunity to play 11-a-side football.

In order to apply for the programme, you need a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grades A*-C including Maths & English. Participating partners may also deliver the BTEC Level 2 or Level 1. If you’re interested in applying then please complete the form below as soon as possible – each programme has limited places available!
