DOYLE AN UNUSED SUB IN IRELAND'S LOSS TO MEXICO

2 June 2017

Bantams goalkeeper Colin Doyle was an unused substitute for the Republic of Ireland's friendly loss to Mexico this Thursday evening.

Ireland were defeated 3-1 by Mexico at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, with West Ham United shot-stopper Darren Randolph in net for the Irish.

The Mexican fixture is one of three matches in quick successive for Martin O'Neill's side at the start of June.

Ireland's next game comes up this Sunday (4 June 2017) on home soil at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin in another friendly fixture, this time against Uruguay.

The Irish then end their triple-header with an important 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Austria at the Aviva Stadium the Sunday after (11 June 2017).
