We are delighted to announce the signing of central midfielder Jake Reeves from AFC Wimbledon. The 24 year-old arrives at the Northern Commercials Stadium on a three-year deal having signed from The Dons for an undisclosed fee.
Having started out in the academy ranks at Tottenham Hotspur, Reeves joined Brentford and began his professional career with the Griffin Park club. Early in his senior career, he enjoyed loan stints at St. Albans City and AFC Wimbledon before eventually going on to make a number of appearances for his parent club in the third tier.
After a short stay at his next club, Swindon Town, Reeves signed for AFC Wimbledon in January 2015 and has gone on to play an important role in the club’s recent rise from League Two to League One
Despite his relatively young age, the talented midfielder has made close to 200 career appearances already and is experienced at this level with roughly half his appearances having been made, playing in League One
An influential player in the middle of the park for Neil Ardley’s side, Jake has now become the latest exciting summer addition to Stuart McCall’s playing squad ahead of the upcoming 2017/18 Sky Bet League One campaign.
