Attendance: 16,725 (116 visitors)

The Bantams twice fought back from a goal down to secure a point from an topsy-turvy and entertaining encounter with Milton Keynes Dons at the Northern Commercials Stadium.

After Dons defender Paul Downing had seen a header touched onto the post by Colin Doyle, attacker Stuart O'Keefe gave the the visitors the early lead with a deflected fourth-minute strike.

Stuart McCall's men levelled things up midway through the first period via Tony McMahon from the penalty spot after Joe Walsh had been penalised for tugging back Charlie Wyke inside the box.

The Dons retook the lead ten minutes before the break when George Williams' cross towards goal beat the out-stretched hand of Colin Doyle and hit both posts rolling over the line.

Once again, however, City showed great resolve to restore parity in the contest just two minutes ahead of the interval when Wyke headed in from a Billy Clarke corner for his fourth City goal.

Into the second period, James Meredith saw a shot from inside the box saved by MK Dons shot-stopper David Martin following Tony McMahon's cut-back.

City controlled possession for long periods as the half progressed but the visiting Dons always looked a threat on the break.

Harvey Barnes, who already gone close early after the interval, forced a smart save from Doyle from one such swift attack forward, while substitute Kieran Agard fired wide from inside the box shortly after coming on.

The Bantams pushed for a late winner but the Dons used all of their experience to see out the game and claim a share of the spoils.

The result means City have now gone a year unbeaten in the league at home.
