Bantams boss Stuart McCall has praised Nicky Law for his part in Saturday's 2-1 victory at Southend United.
City goalscorers Dominic Poleon and Charlie Wyke, understandably, took a lot of the headlines at Roots Hall, but McCall feels that Law is worthy of some of the plaudits as well.
Law set up Poleon for City's opener, while the Bantams midfielder also won the penalty that Wyke converted late on for the victory over the Shrimpers.
McCall said: "It was two great forward runs from Lawsy for the two goals.
"He is a clever player.
"He is desperate to get himself on the score-sheet this season, but he made a big contribution to the game on Saturday.
"He has played a huge part in getting us the victory.
"It was good football for the first goal. A nice run into the box and cross from Lawsy to set up Dom.
"Again, it is another good forward run and pass from Lawsy for the penalty.
"It is great work from Nicky and clear penalty for me."
