The club wish to inform supporters that due to our big home attendances, the pressure exerted on surrounding roads on a match day is now greater than ever and as such has led to some issues pre and post-match with the flow of supporters on foot and the movement of match day vehicular traffic.
We have worked with the police and listened to feedback from our fans and have made a decision to close Midland Road for every Sky Bet League One fixture.
Starting from this Saturday's (9 December 2017) fixture with Rochdale, the road closures will be in place from 1:00pm until 5:30pm for a 3:00pm kick off and 5:30pm until 10:30pm for a 7:45pm kick off.
Midland Road will be closed from its junction with Thorncliffe Road right through to its junction with Cornwall Road.
The lower section of Holywell Ash Lane will also be closed from its junction with Lupton Street.
Access to the disabled parking spaces in front of Rear Rock Terrace will still be allowed from the Thorncliffe Road closure point.
All sections of the stadium will be open with the standard turnstile configuration.
