Match referee Darren Bond has been selected to officiate Saturday's (9 December 2017) Sky Bet League One fixture with Rochdale at the Northern Commercials Stadium.
Mr Bond has taken charge of nineteen games so far this season, mainly in the Championship, although he has been in the middle for a City game already during the 2017/2018 campaign.
The Lancashire-based official was the referee for City's home league fixture with Charlton Athletic back in October.
The most recent match he officiated was Ipswich Town's 4-2 victory over Nottingham Forest at Portman Road in the Championship last Saturday.
The two assistant referees for this Saturday's Rochdale fixture will be Steven Meredith and Shaun Hudson.
The fourth official at the Northern Commercials Stadium is scheduled to be Ricky Wootton.
