TWO NEW SUPPORTERS' GROUPS FORMED

13 April 2017

The Bantams would like to formally introduce two new supporters' groups to City fans, Bingley Bantams and Wilsden Bantams.

Both new clubs have been formed this season and are actively looking for fellow City supporters to join up should they wish.

Bingley Bantams' inaugural meeting is due to take place next Thursday (20 April 2017) from 7:30pm at the newly-opened sports bar 'The Firepit', which is located in Bingley town centre.

City player Ellis Hudson is scheduled to attend the evening for a Q&A session, along with representatives from The Telegraph & Argus and Keighley News.

All Bingley Bantams members will be offered discounted cards to The Firepit.

Supporters can become members on the night - adults will be £15.00 per person and £8.00 for under 16s. Memberships run through until the end of next season.

Fans can either pay on the night, visit the website - www.bingleybantams.co.uk - or e-mail Ian Taylor on secretary@bingleybantams.co.uk for further details.

Bingley Bantams also has a Facebook page (search Bingley Bantams Official) and a Twitter page (@bingley_bantams).

Wilsden Bantams held their own open evening at the end of last month, with City 'keeper Colin Doyle (pictured below), former defender Graham Mitchell and Billy Bantams all in attendance.

The event - which saw over 100 people in total attend - was held at The Villager Pub in Wilsden. This particular venue will be where the club is run from.

Membership for the Wilsden Bantams through to the end of next season will cost £10.00 for over 18s and £5.00 for under 18s. Further information can be obtained through Chris Moralee via wilsdenbantams@hotmail.com.

Wilsden Bantams' Facebook page can be found by simply searching 'Wilsden Bantams'.

Both clubs have been set up to help spread awareness and raise funds for local charities and the football club.

Both Bingley and Wilsden Bantams will also be offering travel to their members for future away fixtures.

The two family-friendly clubs plan to host a number of fun events and activities for all ages throughout the course of the next twelve months, so they are well worth checking out!
