BRADFORD CITY vs OXFORD UNITED - HEAD-TO-HEAD

11 April 2017

Stuart McCall's Bantams entertain Oxford United at the Northern Commercials Stadium on Good Friday (14 April 2017) - kick off 3:00pm - in City's penultimate home game of the regular league campaign.

Ahead of the Easter encounter with Oxford, www.bradfordcityfc.co.uk takes a look at the two sides' recent records...

Previous games at Valley Parade since 2000

12/01/13 - Bradford City 1 Oxford United 2
(City's previous home game with Oxford in the league. The match came just four days after the Bantams' memorable 3-1 first leg home victory over Aston Villa in the Capital One Cup).

10/03/12 - Bradford City 2 Oxford United 1
30/10/10 - Bradford City 5 Oxford United 0
(This particular match burst into life in the second period, with five goals and three red cards all coming after the restart).

(One other notable game between City and Oxford at Valley Parade came in 1 May 1999 - a match Bantams boss Stuart McCall played in. With City pushing for promotion up into the Premier League, victory in their final home game of the season would have virtually secured the Bantams a spot in the top flight. City could only manage a goalless draw on the day but they still managed to clinch their place in the Premiership with a thrilling 3-2 win at Wolves the following weekend).
