Attendance: 16,759 (95 visitors)

Stuart McCall's Bantams made it a tremendous ten games unbeaten at the start of the league season after picking up a morale-boosting home victory over Fleetwood Town.

After a run of five straight draws, City came from behind against Fleetwood to pick up their second home win of the season and move into third in the Sky Bet League One table.

McCall's men conceded first in the opening period through Bobby Grant but the recalled Filipe Morais, one of three changes made by the City chief, levelled things up for the Bantams on the stroke of half time.

Billy Clarke then secured all three points for the Bantams in the second period when he netted from the penalty spot just after the hour mark after Timothee Dieng was pulled back by Eggert Jonsson in the box.

Clarke, who later was awarded the sponsors' Man of the Match, was introduced into the action late on in the first period due to a knock picked by Marc McNulty following an accidental tangle with Fleetwood 'keeper Chris Neal.

In an open first period at the Northern Commercials Stadium, chances came at both ends.

Former Bantams striker Devante Cole forced a good save from Colin Doyle after latching onto a loose pass from Josh Cullen, while McNulty fired narrowly wide of the far post at the other end after being played into space by Morais.

Fleetwood took the lead just over ten minutes before the break when David Ball put Grant clear down the visitors' right flank and he raced into the box before firing in past Doyle at his near post.

On his first start in City colours, Haris Vuckic nearly equalised for McCall's men shortly before the interval but his goal-bound effort from a Billy Clarke cross was somehow kept out by a fantastic save from Neal.

There was still time in the half, however, for City to draw level through Morais.

From Vuckic's ball over the top, Billy Clarke found himself in space inside the area and the Irish attacker squared for Morais to smash home into the roof of the net.

Clarke went from provider to scorer after the restart when Dieng was felled in the box by Jonsson.

Clarke's cross into the middle was headed up into the air by Ashley Eastham, Dieng went to latch onto the loose ball inside the box as it dropped to the ground but he was tugged back as he did so.

Clarke took responsibility for the spot-kick and proceeded to blast the resulting penalty down the middle past Neal to give City the lead for the first time on the night.

With time running out in the game, Fleetwood introduced defender Cian Bolger from the bench to play up front as the Cod Army looked for a way back in the match.

Uwe Rosler's side succeeded in putting City under some territorial pressure in the final minutes of the match but the Bantams arguably still had the best chance late on, with sub Mark Marshall forcing Neal to tip around the post with a fierce drive.

FT: Bradford City 2 Fleetwood Town 1
90min: There will be four minutes of time added on at the end of the match.
90min: Picking up the ball outside the area, Marshall runs forward with purpose towards Fleetwood's area. Running at Bell, Marshall fires for goal from inside the box and Neal has to push the powerful effort round the post.
85min: With Bolger, usually a centre half, now playing up front, Fleetwood are trying to put City under some pressure in their search for an equaliser.

63min: SUBS - The Bantams bring on and Nicky Law Mark Marshall for Vuckic and Morais.

61min: PENALTY TO THE BANTAMS! City have a spot-kick when Dieng is pulled back inside the box by Jonsson. Billy Clarke's cross into the box is only half-cleared, Dieng looks set to latch onto the loose ball as it drops down but the midfielder is pulled back as he attempts to do so, resulting in referee Graham Salisbury pointing to the spot.
55min: Turning into space, Jimmy Ryan fizzing over a teasing low cross that whistles just past Cole and Ball inside the six yard box and out the far side for a goal kick.
52min: YELLOW CARD - Ball is booked for dragging back Meredith just inside Fleetwood territory.
51min: Morais' cross into the box is headed down by Vuckic into the path of Hiwula but the striker is flagged offside as he volleys for goal from close range, an effort that is repelled by Neal anyway.

45+2min: GOAL!!!!!!! Bradford City 1 Fleetwood Town 1 - The Bantams equalise on the stroke of half time when Billy Clarke tees up Morais. Clarke finds himself in behind Fleetwood's defensive line after latching onto a deflected forward pass. As Fleetwood try to recover their lost ground, Clarke plays the ball across the box to the on-rushing Morais and he crashes home past Neal from roughly eight yards out.
45+1min: Ball's low curling effort from the edge of the box is comfortably held by Doyle.
45min: There will be two minutes of time added on at the end of the first period.

44min: Vuckic is denied by a brilliant save from Neal! Billy Clarke's first time whipped cross into the box finds the Slovenian attacker and he side-foots towards the bottom corner. The ball looks set to nestle in the goal but Neal somehow thrusts out a hand to push the ball away from the line.
42min: SUB - The Bantams bring on Billy Clarke for McNulty, who it seems may not have quite shaken off his earlier knock picked up from his clash with Neal.
37min: Ball's shot on the turn from just outside the box sails comfortably over.
37min: Ball turns away from Dieng over by the right hand side of City's penalty area before firing low into the six yard box. Luckily for City though, Knight-Percival is in the right position to vitally kick clear and stop Cole from potentially pouncing from close range.
34min: GOAL - Bradford City 0 Fleetwood Town 1 - The visitors take the lead through Grant. David Ball's lay-off to Grant finds the attacker goal-side of Nathaniel Knight-Percival and in with a run towards goal from the right flank. Grant moves into the box before firing high into the net past Doyle by the near post.
28min: YELLOW CARD - Cullen is booked for a late sliding tackle on Grant near the the dug-outs in Fleetwood's half of the pitch.
21min: Haris Vuckic's deflected forward pass just outside the area loops up nicely towards the path of McNulty inside the area. The striker looks to latch onto the ball as it drops down from the sky but Neal is there just a second sooner to punch clear. The pair accidentally collide together afterwards, with McNulty needing a brief spot of treatment before being able to carry on.
19min: A great little pass from Morais plays Marc McNulty into shooting space inside the box. Hiwula is in support looking for a pull-back in the middle but McNulty shoots for goal himself from an angle and his low drive rolls past the far post.
16min: Timothee Dieng picks out Meredith with a pass across the box but the Australian's drive from just inside the area on his weaker right foot deflects up into the air off a Fleetwood defender and Neal is able to pluck the ball out of the night's sky.
14min: From the resulting corner, Grant plays it low into the box, picking out the run of Conor McLaughlin. The Fleetwood right back fires low into the mix but Meredith is crucially on hand to kick clear from inside his own six yard box.
14min: Cullen's loose pass is intercepted by Devante Cole, allowing the striker to burst past Romain Vincelot and through on Colin Doyle's goal. As Cole makes his way into the box, the striker fires for goal just as a couple of City defenders try to recover their ground and Doyle gets his left hand to the shot to turn the low effort around the post.
9min: Filipe Morais steps away from Eggert Jonsson before firing in a rising drive from just outside the area that goes wide of Neal's near post.
