MORECAMBE TEAM NEWS

9 November 2016

Bantams boss Stuart McCall has made six changes to City's starting XI for the club's Checkatrade Trophy group match at Morecambe.

With Colin Doyle away on international duty, Rouven Sattelmaier will start in goal.

James Meredith makes a welcome return from injury to start the game at left back. Apprentice defender Tom Windle will begin at right back.

Nathan Clarke and Rory McArdle keep their places at centre back from Saturday's Emirates FA Cup with Accrington Stanley.

Clarke will captain the side in the absence of Stephen Darby and Romain Vincelot.

Young professional James King has been handed his senior debut in central midfield alongside Daniel Devine.

Ellis Hudson, who recently signed his first pro deal with the club, will occupy the left flank. Filipe Morais begins from the right wing.

For Windle and Hudson, the Morecambe match will be their full debuts with the first team after earlier sub appearances for City in this competition.

Haris Vuckic retains his attacking role in the side, supporting the recalled Marc McNulty in attack.

Joe Cracknell and Reece Webb-Foster, both of whom have recently been away from the club on loan, are on the bench.

Vincent Rabiega is also among City's list of substitutes, along with apprentices Kwame Boateng and Sam Wright.

City assistant Kenny Black will once again take charge of the side in the Checkatrade Trophy.
