DOYLE'S PLACE IN FULL IRELAND SQUAD CONFIRMED

8 November 2016

Bantams goalkeeper Colin Doyle has retained his place in Republic of Ireland's squad for their match in Austria at the weekend after the FAI confirmed their final group for the World Cup qualifier.

After initially been named in a 35-man provisional squad last week, Doyle has kept his spot after Ireland boss Martin O'Neill whittled the numbers down to 28 on Monday evening.

The City shot-stopper is one of three goalkeepers to be included in the full squad, with Sheffield Wednesday's Keiren Westwood and Darren Randolph of West Ham United also selected.

Doyle will now train with his Ireland team-mates Tuesday and Wednesday at the FAI National Training Centre before flying out to Vienna on Thursday.

Ireland's match with Austria will take place this Saturday (12 November 2016).
