DOYLE RECEIVES CALL-UP INTO PROVISIONAL IRISH SQUAD

Bantams 'keeper Colin Doyle has been included in the Republic of Ireland's provisional squad for their forthcoming World Cup qualifier with Austria.

Doyle has been named in a 35-man squad ahead of Ireland's match in Vienna on Saturday 12 November.

At the moment, the squad are scheduled to report for duty next Monday (7 November) for training at the FAI National Training Centre before departing for Vienna on the Thursday.

Doyle is one of five goalkeepers named in the current provisional squad for the Austria match.

The 31 year-old has one senior cap to his name so far in career, playing for his country against Ecuador back in May 2007.

In other news, City striker Billy Clarke has been nominated for the PFA Fans' Player of the Month Award in League One for October.
