BE THERE FOR BOBBY - REDUCED PRE-MATCH PRICES FOR NORTHAMPTON

20 November 2016

Following the sad news we received recently regarding the sudden passing of our record goal scorer Bobby Campbell, the club have decided to reduce the match ticket prices for Tuesday's game (22 November 2016) against Northampton Town at the Northern Commercials Stadium. This is to encourage any fan(s) to come and pay their last respects to Bobby, and to share with us some outstanding memories of his time with Bradford City.

Videos of the big man will be played on our new scoreboard prior to the match to allow fans to relive some special memories with action from some of Bobby’s games including that momentous 1-0 win against the mighty Liverpool in the Milk Cup in 1980.

The club also has other gestures planned on the night including a chorus of 'One Bobby Campbell' in the ninth minute of the game and a special tribute to Bobby in the match programme.

City's players and management staff will wear black armbands during the Northampton fixture as well.

Bobby's family will be in attendance with a host of former team mates and anyone wishing to pay their final respects to the genial Northern Irishman, needs to be in the stadium for 7.30pm for the showing of the first video.

As a goodwill gesture, and to help more people get to the game, the club have generously agreed to reduce the admission prices. If an adult purchases a ticket by 5:00pm on Monday (21 November), the cost is £15.00

Other reductions for concessions also apply.

Lets fill the stadium and raise the roof in memory of our greatest goal scorer.

Any City fan who has already bought a ticket for the game at £20 should bring the ticket back to the ticket office where the staff will be happy to refund the fiver.
