'THE PARADER' WINS PROGRAMME AWARD

24 May 2016

Bradford City’s Official Match-day Programme ‘The Parader’ has been chosen by the Sports Trader magazine as the programme of the 2015-16 season for League 1.

Described by the panel as ‘a fine example of a League One programme’ and one that was ‘streets ahead of the competition’, the award has been gratefully received by those responsible for putting the publication together for every home fixture and by those who contribute with superb written content.

The Sports Trader (www.thesportstrader.co.uk) produce a bi-monthly magazine which caters for collectors of all ages and budgets. Formerly known as ‘The Football Trader’ they are celebrating 15 years of bringing collectors and dealers’ closer together. The writers and editors at The Sports Trader magazine, based Essex, decided Bradford City’s official matchday programme was their favourite from League 1.

This season’s programme, ‘The Parader’ has included various different articles suitable for the various different types of fans that we have coming to the games. From the Junior Bantams section for the younger fans, which includes a mini-quiz, spot the different and a word search, to the ‘What were we wearing’ and ‘Looking Back’ features which covers past seasons and events and may be of a particular interest to the older supporters reminiscing about years gone by.

There are also features for all which focus on the first team squad members, such as ‘A to Z, Team Mates, One or t’other and Bantam Beats.

At Bradford City Football, like we are on the pitch, off the pitch we seek gradual progression also and that seems to be the case with the programme over the last 3/4 years. We are happy with the progression but know there is always room for improvement as we look to become the best we can be.

With this in mind, we ask for you fans to send us feedback on the programme and any suggestions you can think of for the 2016-17 programme. After all, it is a fan friendly programme and we aim to cover all bases.

Any feedback/suggestions can be emailed to our Programme Editor, Luke Gallagher on the following address lukegallagher@bradfordcityfc.co.uk
