Bradford City Football Club is delighted to announce that Mitton Group have agreed to become the official back-of-shirt sponsor ahead of the 2016/17 season.
The new sponsorship will see Mitton Group’s name and logo appear on the back of each of the first team kits which are due for launch very (very!) soon. Not only that, the logo will feature on the back of the thousands of shirts sold in the Club’s store.
The deal enhances the already flourishing partnership between Bradford City and Mitton Group.
In 2015, City signed a new long term sponsorship contract with the building services specialist that saw Mitton Group become a corporate partner of the Club. As well as sponsorship of the Academy and the Kop, the deal ensured Mitton Group became a major part of the widespread internal stadium rebrand.
The Taylor family, who are behind Mitton Group have been familiar faces around BD8 for many years having supported City all of their lives. In recent years, Mitton Group have been on hand for many things including the refurbishment of the 1911 Club, and are playing an integral part of the redevelopment of the changing rooms, as the main contractor. The work is due to start next week.

In recent years, we’ve developed our business on a national stage, and have acquired a portfolio of customers from up and down the country, it is important that these clients see our brand far and wide”’
City’s Chief Operating Officer, James Mason added, “We are delighted to extend this partnership with Mitton Group, who have always been loyal supporters of the club. For Steve to show this kind of leadership to increase their association with us in this way is a real credit, and reinforces what we are trying to achieve both commercially and as a business. I would also like to personally thank Tony & Paul Bhogal at previous back of shirt sponsor Autoelectro for being the first ever sponsor of this kind and we appreciate their continued support going into next season.
